Adding Notes to Customer Profiles

Internal customer notes let your team track preferences, allergies, special requests, or other private information about clients. Notes are only visible to your salon staff—never to customers.

Where to add notes

You can add notes from two places:

A note left for customer, visible in the booking details view.
  • Customers page — Select a customer row to open the Customer Details panel, then click the "Add client notes" link in the Notes section

  • Calendar booking — Click any booking to open the Booking Details drawer, then click "View all client notes" in the Notes block

Both open the same Client notes overlay where you can view and manage all notes for that customer.

Adding a note

  1. Open the Client notes overlay from either location above

  2. Type your note in the text field (labeled "Add a note about this client…")

  3. Click Save

The note appears immediately at the top of the list with your name and timestamp.

Editing and deleting notes

To edit a note, click the pencil icon next to it. Make your changes and click Save or Cancel to discard.

To delete a note, click the trash icon and confirm when prompted.

Where notes appear

The most recent note shows in:

  • The Customer Details panel (Notes section)

  • The Booking Details drawer (Notes block, below booking notes)

To see the full history, click "View all client notes" to open the notes panel.
