Adding Notes to Customer Profiles
Internal customer notes let your team track preferences, allergies, special requests, or other private information about clients. You can attach up to 6 photos to a note to keep visual references such as color formulas or style photos. Notes and their attachments are only visible to your salon staff and never to customers.
Where to add notes
You can add notes from two places:
Customers page — Select a customer row to open the Customer Details panel, then click the Add client notes link in the Notes section
Calendar booking — Click any booking to open the Booking Details drawer, then click View all client notes in the Notes block
Both open the same Client notes overlay where you can view and manage all notes for that customer.
Adding a note with photos
Open the Client notes overlay from either location above
Type your note in the text field labeled Add a note about this client…
Click the photo upload area and select up to 6 images from your device
Wait for each photo to finish uploading before saving
Click Save
The note appears immediately at the top of the list with your name and timestamp. Attached photos are shown as thumbnails and can be opened to view the full image.
Supported photo formats and limits
Only image files are accepted. Supported formats are:
.jpg and .jpeg
.png
.webp
.heic
Each photo must be smaller than 10 MB. You can attach up to 6 photos per note.
If you select more than 6 photos, or upload a file that is too large or in the wrong format, you will see an error in the upload area. You must fix these errors before the Save button will work.
Previewing and removing photos
In the note overlay, each attached photo shows a thumbnail. Click a photo to open it in a preview. In the preview, you can click View photo to see the full image or Delete photo to remove it from the note.
While you are creating a new note, you can click Remove selected photo next to any uploaded image to delete it before saving.
Editing and deleting notes
To edit a note, click the pencil icon next to it. Make your changes and click Save or Cancel to discard.
To delete a note, click the trash icon and confirm when prompted. Deleting a note removes its text and all attached photos.
Where notes appear
The most recent note shows in:
The Customer Details panel (Notes section)
The Booking Details drawer (Notes block, below booking notes)
To see the full history, click View all client notes to open the notes panel.
