Correcting a bounced customer email
When a customer's email address rejects messages, booking notifications stop being delivered. Correct the address and resend the confirmation, reminder, or cancellation messages that missed them.
When an email bounces
An "Email needs update" alert appears in the Booking Details drawer and the Customer Details panel when the customer's email has bounced. It reads "Emails to this client are not being delivered. Ask the client for a valid email address and update it here." If a usable phone number is saved, it adds "Booking messages will be sent by SMS when possible." If not, it warns "No phone number is saved, so the client may miss booking messages."
Correct the email
In the alert, click Edit email.
Replace the address with the one you confirmed with the client.
Save your changes.
Resend missed notifications
After you save a corrected address from the booking details flow, Taimli asks "Resend notifications?" with the note "Some may not have reached the customer at their previous email."
Not now closes the prompt without sending anything.
Choose notifications opens the Resend notifications panel.
The prompt appears only when the previous address bounced, the saved email is genuinely different, and your account has permission to resend booking notifications. Correcting an email from the standalone Customers page does not show this booking-specific prompt.
Choose which messages to resend
In the Resend notifications panel, which reads "Choose which messages to resend to the customer.", select the Email and SMS messages to send. What you can select depends on the booking status:
Confirmed booking: Confirmation email and SMS, and Reminder email and SMS.
Canceled booking: Cancellation email and SMS.
Any other status: no messages can be selected.
Nothing is selected by default. Click Send to deliver the selected messages. SMS is sent when the customer has a usable phone number and SMS is configured for your salon.
