Release notes for Taimli: new features, improvements, fixes, and platform changes.
Salon admins can now send a copy of selected worker booking emails to the salon's main email address. The setting covers new booking notices, pending and canceled booking notices, spam-flagged pending bookings, customer-unreachable alerts, and visit review messages, while workers continue receiving their own copies. It is off by default, so recipients stay the same until you turn it on.
See Send worker booking emails to your salon address for how to enable it and which messages are included.
You can now keep a product catalog for your salon and add retail products to a booking alongside its services. Add a product name and price, choose a quantity, and Taimli updates the amount due, booking details, emails, and invoices. Archived products stay out of the active picker until restored.
See Set up and sell products for the full workflow, including stock tracking and product sales in Insights.
You can now save a repeating weekly schedule per worker. Open the day dropdown on the calendar and choose Weekly hours: pick the open weekdays with start and end times, and the calendar fills empty future days through your online booking window.
You can now choose when your admin calendar day starts and ends. The new Calendar hours setting lives in Settings > Booking & availability > Booking Settings, and new salons default to 07:00 to 22:00. Appointments outside the chosen range stay saved and reappear when you widen the hours. See Choose the hours shown on your calendar.
Workers can now receive an email when a customer leaves a review after a visit. The email includes the customer, appointment, services, rating, any written feedback, and a link to view reviews in Taimli.
Salon owners can turn the alert on or off under Settings > Notifications > Staff Notifications, and each worker can set a personal preference in My Preferences that overrides the salon default. These review alerts are among the worker booking emails you can also copy to your salon email address; see Send worker booking emails to your salon address.
See Thank-you emails for the details.
Salon members can now view customer feedback on a new Reviews page in the salon admin dashboard. The page shows your average rating and total review count, lets you search by customer name or review text, and opens the related appointment for more context.
See Thank-you emails for how customers submit reviews, and View customer reviews and ratings for the new page.
In the Discounts section, you can now set up birthday offers for your customers.
You can now limit how far ahead customers book on your booking page. In Settings > Booking & availability, set Online booking window to 1, 2, or 3 months, or leave it at No limit.
The window rolls forward one day at a time, and you can still plan further ahead in your Calendar. Customers also cannot join the waitlist for dates outside the window. See Setting the Online Booking Window.
When you check a booking out as paid, Taimli can now send a personal thank-you email once the visit ends, with a link to a feedback form where the customer rates the visit 1 to 5 stars and can leave a short review.
Salons can optionally add a Google review URL so customers who rate 4 or 5 stars can leave a Google review.
See Thank-you emails for how to enable it and who receives the email.
