Create and manage service variants
Service variants let you offer options like sizes or add-ons, each with its own price and duration. You create and edit variants directly in the service editor, in New Service and Edit Service.
Before you start
You need at least one category before you can create a service. If your salon has no categories yet, the Services page shows New category instead of New service.
Create variants in New Service
A new service starts with one blank variant. Add more variants in the same editor, then set each variant's price and duration.
Open Services from the sidebar.
Open the floating New category or service menu and select New service.
In the New Service panel, select Add variant for each additional option you want to offer.
Enter a Variant name for each variant. This field appears only when the service has more than one active variant.
Set the price and timing for each variant (see the field list below).
Select Save. The service and all its variants are created.
Edit variants in Edit Service
Existing variants are edited through the same inline form. Open a service in the editor and change its variants directly.
Open Services.
Open the service editor: on desktop, select Edit service; on mobile, open the service menu and select Edit service.
Edit the inline variants, or select Add variant to add another and Remove variant to delete one.
Select Save. Your variant changes are applied.
Variant fields
Each variant has its own price and timing settings, set in the same editor as the service.
Field | What it does |
|---|---|
Variant name | Shown only when the service has more than one active variant. |
Price | The price customers pay for this variant. |
Duration | How long the appointment takes, in minutes. |
Sale price | A discounted price for the variant. |
Buffer | Extra blocked time around the appointment. |
Display price as "from" | Customers see prices as "from 50€" instead of "50€". |
Booking visibility is a service setting
Show in online booking controls whether a service appears on your public booking page. It applies to the whole service, not to individual variants, so you cannot hide one variant while showing another.
How customers select variants
On the public booking page, customers click the service card to open its details. When a service has more than one variant, the dialog lists each variant with its name, duration, and price, and the first variant is selected by default. Customers choose a variant and select Add, or Save to change a selection. The selected service card shows the variant name, duration, and price.
